Security Deposit
Is a deposit required?

Yes. A refundable security deposit is required when renting a vehicle with WAHDAH Japan.

Upon successful vehicle return, your security deposit will be transferred to your WaCash account.

The deposit will become eligible for withdrawal 10 days after the vehicle return date, provided there are no outstanding charges, damages, traffic violations, or unresolved claims.

How to Request a Deposit Refund:

  1. Log in to your WAHDAH account using your registered email address and password.
  2. Navigate to Account Menu → WaCash.
  3. Select Withdrawal once the 10-day holding period has ended.
  4. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and submit your request.

For deposits paid via credit or debit card, eligible refunds will be processed back to the original payment method, where supported. Refunds for payments made via bank transfer will be processed to the designated bank account.

Important Notes:

  • Deposit refunds are not automatic. Customers must submit a withdrawal request through their WaCash account.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or receiving bank.
  • Eligible WaCash funds may be used toward future bookings without waiting for the standard withdrawal period.
  • Any outstanding charges or unresolved claims may affect the final refundable amount.
